Exploration of Limits

This was a university project. The first individual project we were asked to do in the course was a zine. The requirements were very simple, the topic was completely free, while the process of making it had to be specific.

We were asked to produce a series of at least 5 identical zines, but were only allowed to photocopy each page to stay true to the original zine movement that originated in the USA.

I chose to focus on the artist Lucio Fontana, more specifically on the conceptual side of his work. He said that his works were based on an exploration of the canvas, almost as a discovery of a new dimension, a process he likened to discovering a new Cosmo. So I concentrated on the idea of allowing the reader to explore the pages of my zine.
