I have been passionate about the dot work technique for a few years now, and although they take an average of 8 hours to make, there’s a weirdly relaxing side to them. I tend to create them in my spare time and mainly focus on drawing a dynamic shape which, accompanied by the dotted shading, often creates a 3D/2D illusion. For some, I try to change/alternate the paper to explore the surface further, and sometimes, make it interactive.
