Nick Antik is a new up and coming singer from the Swiss Italian region of Switzerland. After winning a TV singing competition last year, he has been working on his career and on new material, for which he asked me to design visuals. He wanted them to be inspired by many different records and artists through the years. He, in fact, was looking for a mixture between Lady Gaga, Nirvana, Lana del Rey and in general something alongside the recent trend of 80s inspired lettering and colors with the same vintage feel. The vibe of the song is definitely a bit melancholic but also somewhat dreamy, so once we settled on the original image I worked on it by layering various textures and designing it to meet the artist’s requirements. you can stream the song here.
