By taking inspiration from Joan Fontcuberta’s Herbarium series and Karl Blossfeldt’s work, I developed my own series of “beings”. I, in fact, was very fascinated by the concept of using already existing plants and from them, create new creatures. I, therefore, scanned multiple leaves and in post-production selected a zoomed-in part. I then changed their colors to more metallic and futuristic ones. By mirroring the different parts together, I managed to create some new shapes and textures.  
Once I had created the different “creatures” I wanted to see either what they looked like in a 3D space, or projected onto a screen. With the idea of them being some sort of a hologram, I rendered a short example of how they would behave in a space. Following that, I created a mockup showing what it could be like if they were projected in a dark room within an exhibition space.
