This was a university project. We were asked to create a custom vinyl design based on a randomly assigned typeface.

Based on the assigned typeface, I chose techno as the genre and came up with the artist name Sicario. The concept was inspired by the walls of techno clubs I visited in Berlin, where there were multiple layers of paint.

The design was created using a mixture of printmaking, scanning and laser cutting. The blue vinyl was found in a thrift shop.
